Two stories I ran into a block on what to write until I got some info from folks... which took them 2 weeks to get to me. Sadly it also prompted an entire re-write of stuff I was working on. ARG!!! Only benefit from it all is that the new story should flesh out a character of mine far better than he's been previously protrayed while making the story more dynamic in the process.
On the modeling side of things... I've looked through all my paints now that I have nearly all my miniatures built... only to find most of the paints have the consistency of rocks or concrete. Now I did want to switch to a new brand of paints that's of higher quality than my old set, but realizing I just lost nearly 200 dollars worth of stuff doesn't exactly fill me with cheer for buying more.
But to focus upon the good things! (Mainly so I do not slay members of humanity)
I now have all information for my Dark Heresy story to be written and completed. Woot!
I have (mostly) figured out what mixture of paints I want to use when I move to the new brand... sadly their range is more limited than what I used previously, but the colors are far more vibrant and the paints blend and cover much better.
I've worked out nearly all details for the beginning of my novel! This was the thing I really wanted to start this summer, but never got the time to sit down and work on it... I really gotta tell my friends that some days I need me time. :/ I'm just a sucker who can't ever say no when offers of hanging out are presented.
And the big thing I've been looking forward too all year...
Blizzcon is next week!
